About iiU

In an effort to connect people with product ideas to people who can turn them into reality, several local companies have united to sponsor iiU - an event that provides:

1. A venue for local inventors and entrepreneurs to showcase their product ideas,
2. Constructive feedback to encourage further development,
3. Awareness to the community of the many services available to local inventors, entrepreneurs, and corporations.

All inventions submissions will be reviewed, with the most promising being advanced to the next round. Judging panels consisting of local professionals and experts will then evaluate each idea until the best idea is selected. Throughout the competition, more than $10,000 in professional development services from locally based companies and vendors will be awarded. Services include design, prototyping, manufacturing, and marketing.
